TIDaviesMr T.I Davies BDS. FDS(Orth)RCS M.Den.Sci M.Orth.RCS

After qualifying in 1984 from Dundee Ian gained hospital experience in all aspects of dentistry before starting his orthodontic speciality training in 1988. Ian trained in Birmingham to gain the M.Orth RCS qualification and then went onto further hospital specialist training at the Eastman and Guildford Hospitals. Ian moved to Suffolk with his wife, Karen, and four children in 1996 to take over the Orthodontic Department at Ipswich Hospital as the Consultant. It became apparent that there was not sufficient provision of orthodontic specialist treatment and Ian founded the Suffolk Orthodontic Practice in 2000. Since then the practice has gone from strength to strength based on high quality results in both NHS and private sectors.

Outside of work at the hospital and practice Ian has little time as his main occupation seems to be driving his children to and from rugby, cricket, dance and triathlon events!

PSinghMr Parmjit Singh

After qualifying from the University of Newcastle in 2001, I relocated to London where I spent some time working in general practice and at the three London undergraduate teaching hospitals. My orthdontic training took place in London, Essex and Ipswich. I now work at Suffolk Orthodontic Practice and am a Locum Consultant at Ipswich Hospital.

My specialist interests include treating patients with severe dentofacial deformity (orthognathic surgery), patients with developmentally missing teeth (hypodontia) and adult orthodontics. I have also developed skills for lingual orthodontics (Incognito) and the use of invisible braces (ClearStep). I thoroughly enjoy teaching recently acquiring the Certificate in Learning and Teaching and have presented and lectured across the UK and presented posters in Berlin and Helsinki. I am a keen writer and have over 10 publications in British and European Journals.

Living between Spain and London, in my spare time I enjoy cycling, trekking and DIY. I have recently started to learn Spanish and dream of one day having a pilot licence.
